For many years, it has been my honor to be the official photographer for the Archdiocese of St. Louis' priesthood and transitional diaconate ordination Masses, and this year's class included a few of my friends from when I was a seminarian myself!
I used two Nikon D7000 camera bodies, both with vertical battery grips. I had a Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8 VR lens on the primary body (used for almost everything, since I had to be very discreet and far away from the sanctuary/action), and a Nikon 17-55mm f/2.8 on the secondary body. My wife used a Nikon D40 with an 18-105mm VR lens in the balcony to take shots from above.
You can view all the photos from the event in my Flickr photostream: 2012 Priesthood Ordination.
