This morning, in reading through some news stories, I noticed that Apple will be holding a special conference today to present some sort of new product. Rumor sites are speculating that the new device will be a long-awaited 'Video iPod.' This would be pretty nice, but I still think that the time is not ripe for portable video players... Perhaps it will be something else entirely, though.
In other news, my Mom is feeling better, but still asks for prayers (if you can spare a few). I know that amidst all the recent natural disasters (the two hurricanes, the earthquake in Pakistan, and the earlier tsunami), there are many people to pray for! Perhaps this is an opportunity God is placing in front of us as a human community to show our love for one another by prayer, support and solidarity.
One last thing: I find every day that I don't really know the people around me as well as I might think. Case in point: look at this story about one of the Seminarians attending Kenrick School of Theology:
