Objective
A position in which I can use my varied skills in web development, design, layout, programming and communication skill to design and develop websites and software solutions for various organizations, and to improve open source software.

I have a wide background in design applications for the computer, and have assisted in many design projects for the organizations ranging from local radio stations to the Drupal project itself and the Archdiocese of Saint Louis. - Web development experience.
Having developed over 50 websites from the ground-up, using a wide variety of platforms (including simple HTML/CSS, PHP, and frameworks such as Wordpress, Joomla and Drupal), I have a lot of experience in design, development, structure, SEO and communication via the web. I am also the maintainer of multiple web servers and development staging servers. I constantly strive to increase my knowledge of new technologies, as web development requires constant relearning and reevaluation of the tools you use. - Involved in the Open Source Community.
I am often in Drupal’s IRC channel, I have contributed modules and themes on drupal.org, I contribute documentation, patches, reviews, and extra time (outside of work) to Drupal development. I also extend this community to Catholics through my work on opensourcecatholic.com. - Photography and Video Production experience.
Many of my pictures have been used in various publications, including the Saint Louis Review, a History Channel documentary, and top tier blogs and websites. Many of the videos I have produced (both for entertaining and training purposes) have over 10,000 views on YouTube

- Responsible for flockNote website and services.
- Converted legacy PHP application codebase and database to Drupal 7, migrated over 250,000 data points into new database/structure.
- Maintained communication with flockNote administrators and core team to fix problems and continually improve performance, reliability, and usability of website and services.
- Communicated directly with end-users from time to time to resolve issues.
- Worked to ensure delivery of millions of emails and text messages (SMS) per year, using own mail server and Amazon SES (while ensuring high deliverability rates).
- Integrated various external APIs into core flockNote application to assist in billing, SMS, email, and social media subsystems.
- Moved source code into Git VCS, and implemented and documented procedures and guidelines for a dev/staging/live workflow.

- Coordinated the site migration of archstl.org from Joomla to Drupal 6 (worked with Chicago-based Palantir).
- Built out an entirely new news platform for the Saint Louis Review (stlouisreview.com) in Drupal 6.
- Constructed training manuals and videos for all the offices and agencies using the Archdiocesan website to communicate and receive feedback.
- Coordinated the streaming of video and presentation of live images and audio from the Cathedral Basilica of Saint Louis for the new Archbishop’s Installation Mass (with over 600 simultaneous viewers, and over 20,000 web page views in one hour) and a Bishop’s Ordination.
- Worked to integrate various services from the website to a dedicated iPhone iOS App—including geolocation, time and date synchronization, and posting from mobile phones to the website.
- Handled the migration of four major websites (cycstl.net, stlyouth.org, catholicscoutingstl.org, and reapteam.org) from static HTML websites to a multisite Drupal 6 installation.
- Built an online ID card registration system, integrated with an ID card printer and PayPal (idcards.cycstl.net).
- Set up multiple online stores and event registration sites, and integrated sites into a Drupal multisite installation for ease of future updates.
- Set up a development server, migrated development workflow from utilizing no version control, to SVN, to Git.
- Set up multiple utility-based servers for different purposes (ApacheSolr, Database, Backup, etc.).
